Guitar Lessons

I have been giving lessons in the Des Moines area for over ten years and I teach all styles of guitar.  I began studying guitar at the 'Ye Olde Guitar Shoppe' with Jazz guitarist Willie Shay and classical guitarists Paul Wilson and Daniel Mastrofski.   At Simpson College, I studied classical guitar with Aaron Powell.  I also have studied with classical guitarist Douglas Neidt in Kansas City.

I give lessons at the Ye Olde Guitar Shoppe in Urbandale, out of my house in Des Moines, or in home lessons in the Des Moines metro. 

 

I also perform for weddings and other events.

As an instructor at the Ye Olde Guitar Shoppe, my goal is to help his students of all ages have fun with music and develop the skills and techniques needed to make guitar a life-long joy and endeavor.

Lessons are $30 per half hour.
